JI announces to launch country wise protest against hike in prices of petroleum products

KARACHI: JI while rejecting the hike in the prices of petroleum products has announced to launch country wide protest movement from today.

JI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman said in a statement government has dropped petrol bomb on people. Enhancement in the prices of petroleum products is not acceptable. Raising the price of petrol upto Rs 458 is tyranny. Increasing the price by Rs 55 first and then Rs 137 is extreme cruelty and tyranny against the people of Pakistan.
The poor and middle class is being buried alive. Poor and middle class is adversely affected. Not only price of petrol was increased by tax too was enhanced. Levy should have been abolished but government has shifted more burden of levy to people.

Hafiz Naeem said people should be given relief instead of bowing before IMF. Payments of billion of rupees are being made to IPPs and no relief is being extended to people. The robbery is being committed on the pockets of people in the name of capacity payments.

He further said JI rejects increase in the prices of petroleum products. We will start protest movement against this hike in all over the country from today.
Youths should come out of their homes and wage struggle to change the situation. We will force the rulers to step back.
