Crackdown announced on unregistered and untransferred vehicles across Balochistan
QUETTA:Acting on the directives of the Director General (DG) Excise Balochistan, the provincial government has decided to launch a province-wide crackdown against unregistered motorcycles and vehicles operating without proper ownership transfer.
According to the official announcement, all citizens whose vehicles are currently running on open transfer letters or have not yet been transferred into their names must immediately approach the Excise Department to complete the process.
The DG Excise said that to enhance transparency and prevent illegal use of vehicles, the government has also decided to introduce a Fuel Pass system, which will only be issued on the basis of the original owner’s national identity card.
This initiative aims to curb the illegal purchase and sale of fuel and reduce crime.
Excise and Taxation staff across districts have been instructed to launch awareness campaigns and provide guidance to citizens, ensuring they complete registration and transfer procedures in time.
The DG Excise appealed to the public to comply with the law and transfer their vehicles to their own names without delay. He warned that violators would face strict legal action under relevant laws.
